Day 8- Asking for Provision for the Mission

“2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”
— Colossians 4:2-4
“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.”
— 2 Peter 1:3
“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!”
— Mathew 7:11

Everything we need on this earth has been made available in the knowledge of Christ the son of God. We are therefore, called and encouraged to make our request to God the father through God the Son, as we allow God the Holy Spirit to help our communication with father and son.

Psalm 34:10 “The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”

Philippians 4:19 “and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Matthew 6:31-32 “31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.”

John 16:23-24 “23 In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Deuteronomy 11:14 “He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil.”

God is our helper and provider, he will provide everything needed for this trip- physically, spiritually, materially, and financially. Thank you Lord.

Day 7- Asking God for the Yoke Breaking Anointing

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”
— Isaiah 10:27
“14 having canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross! 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”
— Colossians 2:14-15

Jesus the anointed one paid the full price on the cross for our redemption. He disarmed satan and through his death and resurrection we have been given a new identification. There was nothing left after he pronounced the verdict - “it is finished”. Therefore, there is nothing left to be done. We are called to walk in this truth and victory every day. We must invite Jesus the yoke breaker into every step that we take.

John 19:28-30 “28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” 29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

Matthew 10:1 “Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.”

Jeremiah 30:8 “On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, I will break the yoke off their necks and tear off their bonds, and no longer will strangers enslave them.”

Nahum 1:13 “For I will now break their yoke from your neck and tear away your shackles.”

Leviticus 26:13 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians. I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk in uprightness.”

Ezekiel 34:27 “The trees of the field will give their fruit, and the land will yield its produce; My flock will be secure in their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and delivered them from the hands that enslaved them.”

Day 6- Standing in the Gap for the Ministers of the Gospel in Malawi

“2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”
— Colossians 4:2-4
“19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”
— Ephesians 6:19-20
“ I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”
